We Press On – We Press Through

Like so many, we are saddened by the deaths of Kobe Bryant, his daughter, and their friends. This week, we are sharing the blog series by Kerry DeBruce (Class of 2017, Undergraduate; Class of 2018, Master’s in Education).

Kerry’s series, “Pulled Back to Move Forward is about experiencing loss while trying to excel as a student. She not only writes about the pain of death, but of the many types of losses we encounter throughout our lives. Currently, Kerry is a teacher in the Troy City School District.

2020 Spring UAlbany Project MyStory Student-to-Student Series Flyer

Established in March 2015, Project MyStory is a community building effort to help students better acclimate to UAlbany and to work more effectively toward their goals. We began in UAlbany’s Academic Support Center (ASC), where you will see many of the posters featured above. We are now co-housed in ASC and in the Center for International Education and Global Strategy (CIEGS).
