YOU ARE INVITED!

The Student-to-Student Success Series is a way for you to connect with other UAlbany students from all over the world to talk about how to navigate this new academic experience. These are not lectures, but conversations. Come to share, learn, and to enjoy some tasty snacks. This series is facilitated for all students, by students under the supervision of the Center for International Education and Global Strategy and A-Plus Tutoring and Academic Support.

The first program begins this Monday, September 9 at 6:30 p.m., in Science Library, Room 340. The topic will be “Adjusting to a New Academic Culture: It’s A Different World.” There will be food, stories, information, gifts, and a chance to win cool prizes. We believe in the power of stories. Come and see why!

Established in March 2015, Project MyStory is a community building effort to help students better acclimate to UAlbany and to work more effectively toward their goals. We began in UAlbany’s Academic Support Center (ASC), where you will see many of the posters featured above. We are now co-housed in ASC and in the Center for International Education and Global Strategy (CIEGS).
