Congratulations Luis and Sam

This semester, two amazing members of the ASC family are stepping out into the deep unknown. Academic Advisor, Dr. Luis Paredes accepted a position at Stetson University as the Director of Diversity and Inclusion and he is already making a difference in his new environment. Last spring, we had the privilege of witnessing his dissertation defense and last weekend, Luis walked across the stage in his graduation gown and was hooded by his dissertation chair, Dr. Patricia Pinho. We will miss him dearly, but we are thrilled for his future.

Sam Bruno, has  served students in Residential Life, New Student Programs – Orientation, the Advisement Services Center and more. She is half student, half amazing. She also walked across the graduation stage this weekend and we are so proud of her. We cannot wait  to see what she is going to do next. Thank you for everything that you have done for our students and simply for the person you have been in our lives.

We love you both and we will miss you.
