Monday, February 24 at 6 p.m.
Science Library, 3rd Floor, Room 340
Dinner and Discussion

Did you know that networking is useful for more than just seeking an internship or gaining entry into your career? Learning how to network is an important skill for seeking a mentor, gathering intel to help you select a major or any pathway in life, to building a professional and personal community of support, and so much more.

Tonight we welcome,  UAlbany students, Dylan Marshall, Robert Mornan, and Kayleen Torres Maldonado; Tibisay Hernandez from the Office of Career and Professional Development, and Randi Blender, the Talent Acquisition Manager from Enterprise, Inc.

If you are nervous about networking, this dinner and discussion is perfect for you. If you are a networking guru, then come and share your experiences. Our stories have power. Let us lift as we climb!

Established in March 2015, Project MyStory is a community building effort to help students better acclimate to UAlbany and to work more effectively toward their goals. We began in UAlbany’s Academic Support Center (ASC), where you will see many of the posters featured above. We are now co-housed in ASC and in the Center for International Education and Global Strategy (CIEGS).
